Champions looks more classy then Willowbrook Mall area though. They have some Section 8 housing there which I don't like.

I have shopped at the Randall's at 1960 and Champions since the Rice closed. For years , I was afraid it would close due to lack of customers. Now it is always crowded. It is delightful to have to wait in the check out line now. Anybody who says Willowbrook and Champions are declining has a far different perception than I do. Three families in my tiny subdivision have just spent at least $150000 each redoing their pools and adding on to their houses. Two have small kids and intend to stay here a very long time.
Section 8 housing exists all over the country. It is everywhere.

There are very nice apartments along Cypresswood around Schroeder and Cutten roads. They would be 5 minutes from the mall.
