Folk should know about Acres Homes, the highest crime rate in Northwest Houston. This is one of the neighborhoods that have a high concentration of ex-felons; also where a serial killer and rapist terrorized this community a few years back.

5th ward used to be bad but not anymore. Before, you couldn't set foot in the Bloody 5th. Now, you can drink lemonade with a tall straw under a tree in 5th ward and nobody will bother you.
