So what's the deal with this get together? Who is planning it? We have any clue on the when and where?

I think if you guys set something up, there needs to be some sort of...I dunno...standard for invitations. It doesn't need to be a free-for-all, it needs to be for established members, IMHO. It also needs to be private and not published here other than "We're having it" and "Contact for more details". Be safe!

I guess that depends on whether she is a City-Data user or not. Of course, if she's not, that could be fixed in about 30 seconds.

Worst idea ever. Whomever wants to come is welcome - no need to RSVP.

I'll be at The Doghouse and Big Star Bar tonight. Will be at Warren's this weekend.

I'll meet you guys anyplace without a strict dresscode or line to get in. Oh yeah, it would be nice for some cute single girls to show (member or non-members), cute wives are welcome too.

Worst idea ever? Why is that...because you're afraid you wouldn't get an invite?

Any get-together that is freely published internet-wide is one I won't ever attend, and I'm not alone. If I were, I would not have received the rep points I did for my comment. Wisdom dictates discretion and safety with such events.

Put on your big girl pants and deal.

Ok I was half way joking on some of that post, but why have an invite only? It’s an open forum; therefore, it’s an open invite in my opinion.

what are you afraid of?

Create another post and have a little private party if you want to pick and chose who attends. And no, I’m not worried about not getting invited. I guess we can compare rep points on this subject if you want, but kind of meaningless if you ask me.
