San Francisco sucks. They don't have all four seasons.

Yeah I never go to Florida in the summer...it's just too damn cold. Especially Miami. I'd hate to think what their heating bills are.

Living in Houston, one should already be accustomed to blistering heat in the summer. I don't like it either but what I do is go to a public pool and cool off, or what we do in the hood is get a water hose and spray each other.

Look how close Houston is to the Gulf that is why the hummity is always high so the feels like temp is 4 to 12 degrees higher. I can not complain to much about the summer weather if the rest of the yr it is like 50 to 80 here can not beat that

Has anyone noticed that there has been a perpetual breeze all the time in Houston the past few months (along with a windy winter)? I'm not saying a cooling breeze - it is just a hot breeze but it is moving wind nonetheless. Typically our hot weather is stifling hot - with no breeze. Our weather has really been changing - it has been the windiest winter I can remember and a constant breeze ever since. If you haven't noticed - think about it next time you are out and see if you don't notice what I am talking about - a slight wind all the time.

Anytime there's a breeze it helps, especially with as hot as it's been. It's also not been all that humid during the day.

Yep.

Even if it's not very cold or snowy, Christmas still comes around. And while it seems integral to some for the "spirit," most sentient beings are tired of that stuff by New Years and then they're waiting for two months or more for the first sign of spring.
