Hello, I'm new to the area and looking for a sports bar that will be showing the boxing fight tomorrow. Anyone know of one in or near Cypress? I've already called a few of the sports bars in the area, but can't seem to find one. It's surprising knowing that there's a huge Mexican population in Houston!!

Thank you!

Houston /= Cypress

Sorry, only the biggest boxing PPV's get promoted in bars out there. Every watered down UFC card will have posters plastered all over though. The TexMex place off 290 and Skinner is great for those.

Try Coaches Sports bar on 290. The fight was a big disappointment, since Chavez Jr couldn't finish Martinez off in the 12 round.

I called Coaches, but they weren't showing it! I ended up watching both fights at home at the same time!!

Good fights!! Canelo is a beast!! Would love to see a rematch between Martinez and Chavez Jr.!!

Watching HBO's 24/7 it didn't seem like Chavez Jr was driven enough. Sometimes your talent will take you were your character want keep you. Definately think it was a reality check for him getting his first loss.

Canelo has been an up and coming fighter and is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

I'd like to see Canelo fight Mayweather next Spring, but I have a feeling that Mayweather would be too scared to tarnish his undefeated record! Canelo might end up fighting Victor Ortiz, who got beat by Josesito!
