No surprise there. I've been saying Gulfton is ridiculous being that's nothing but densely-packed, low-rent apartments. They no longer serve the purpose originally intended and something needs to be done.
And is Gulfton really the same as Sharpstown? Sharpstown has several single-family home subdivisions. I don't think Gulfton does.

Sad. Why can't the property tax be increased for those apartments which would then give the city more money for police and schools?
