I am interested in opinions from those in the (recent) know regarding this school for HS. I have a reasonably bright daughter who is currently in private that ends at 8th, and we visited this school recently and found it is pleasant and diverse environment. I desire to keep her in private mostly because she is used to that environment and has done well so far.

Academics is our focus and obviously good college placements. I have heard that Village school has developed a good reputation for academics over the years. One big plus is they offer a bus service to our area which is very convenient. The negative is clearly the cost, which is high but not that different than many of the other Houston private high schools.

private schools will always be better than public schools. dont put your kids in public school if you can afford it. I've also heard only good things about this school.
Village School is one of top 10 best private school (which means top 10 best schools) in Houston.

St. John's and Strake Jesuit are also great. can rarely go wrong with private christian / catholic schools.
