Hello
I think some of these people who are strangly defensive of houston and Sugarland work for these cities or some kind of weird conservative organization. Their overprotection of the city against negative comments are very suspicious. Are they saying suicide and murder do not happen in this "perfect, christian , family -values town"? This is a joke and I think this forum is a joke. I hope no-one out there falls for these lies .

That's right, we're all members of the Illuminati. New World Order, unite!

We unite kinda like Voltran. I'm the ankle. Texas User is our Achilles, Jfre is our heart, M2F is the forearm, EA is the brains and the others are various other body parts.

Or... Perhaps we just like our city and think it ridiculous that other people attack it so self-righteously, needlessly, blindly and blandly.

Just sayin'. The Illuminati thing makes more sense though.

With all due respect sir your comment is strange, but they are yours and you have that right. Houston and its suburbs have a negative aspect to them weather you and your "click" like it or not. Trying to suppress desent is unfair. You have confirmed my belief that this forum is a joke and I will not take it seriously again.

I don't remember trying to suppress "desent." No worries though. And, I don't really have a "click" as I'm married with a new child. We don't get out much anymore. We just go to the parks and the museums nearby. Perhaps my click can join me one day? Do they make a lot of clicking noises though? I think it'll wake my daughter, and it might not be the best thing. Why is it I always end up hanging out with dolphins?

Tiffany, I'm curious where you are planning to live in California? I saw a June post where you say you are moving there for an executive position.
(And congrats on that.) I assume you are doing a lot of research...(e.g. are you reading C-D forums in those areas you plan to live?) Which town/area do you feel will let you be happier, and hopefully not run into the situations/attitudes that have troubled you here in Texas?

I'm a recent transplant myself and I do live in Sugar Land. I don't have kids in the schools or belong to a church, which would certainly throw out a wider net, but I can't say I've felt any coldness or oppression from these "perfect Christians" ....

And in my opinion, there are many, many thoughtful, helpful, genial posters in this forum. That some of them make joking comments does not mean this entire forum "is a joke."

If you look at her post history, she makes the same weird, conspiracy theory sort of comments also about Katy and Houston in general... just odd.

Right lol, I didn't check this thread at all yesterday because I wasn't home, I came back into this thread thinking that it wouldn't be in the news still and everyone would be flaming me, but luckily someone posted a source to verify what I said. Like I said, I wouldn't lie online haha, this **** happened right by me.

You haven't? We cold oppressive "perfect" Christian Sugar Landers will have to try harder to scare away the outsiders.

Seriously, though, Tiffany needs to escape to that awesome utopia California so that she can leave this miserable place behind.

I, on the other hand, suppress descent by pushing the "up" button on elevators. Because I will not let Tha Man keep me down.

Suppose there's no word on how/why this person wound up dead in the pool?
