I think they're still doing a bit of road work around there. Maybe that has something to do with it, or maybe a main's busted somewhere.

Someone else from the 006 just posted a thread about his water being turned off too. If it's a routine repair, the utility company is supposed to post notices. If it's an emergency, obviously they can't. I'd imagine, considering there are two of you with the same issue, living near each other and neither of you received an advance warning, it's probably an emergency. Just a guess. Either way, call your boss and tell 'em you're not gonna make it to work today because you don't want to smell like a bum.

We even had a touch of tiny hail pellets tonight. Glad that's done with, the wind was pretty fierce!

I didn't get much of anything, just a little rain and wind and a lot of lightning/thunder. Took out power for a few seconds.
