Hello everyone.
I'm still new here on city-data. I see there is a section called BLOG and a user can start their own blog I suppose? But, there are tons of blogs online on the internet and I just need to know if anyone has had any success or horror stories to relate as suggestions before beginning a new blog?
I'm in the Houston metro area and presently use the public library for online access, but am looking for a decent deal on a laptop, or notebook, or netbook, a good used machine with Wi-Fi, webcam, etc. for a reasonable price.
Appreciate any input on blogs you might suggest, such as blogs.com or blodspot.com, etc.... Again, thanks for your input and send me a direct email here if you have a great laptop U would like to get rid of on the cheap.

I've used blogspot for 5 years and it's pretty good. I also use Wordpress for my business blog, which offers a few more features.

I use a Wordpress(.org) interface for my web site and Blogger for another site. Both are easy to manage. I also contribute to a site that uses Movable Type, but I don't like the feel of it nearly as much as Wordpress.

Search on "Google turns in anonymous blogger".

Depends on the content you want to put.
