During the summer you need to do walk on unless you must take your car to the other side. Be warned if you do drive the bolivar side could have an even longer wait. I have gone from Galveston side with no wait and get on the other side with a 3 hour wait. I have even decided to drive the long way around home instead of waiting to ride back on the boat.
