It's not a common parakeet in the US pet trade, but they do exist. Does anyone know any pet store or breeder that sells them?

Try Adventures in Birds on Westview. If they don't have it, they'll know where to get it! 713-681-5299

A Feathered Affair in Tomball is a great little shop. The birds are VERY well cared for. (They also have a Queen of Bavaria conure -not for sale...very rare and beautiful- which is worth the drive just to see.)
I don't know if she has what you are looking for, but you could call to see. The last time I was there she had some macaws, caiques, sun conures, pineapple conures, african greys, maybe an amazon? (I don't remember.)
Lots of toys and food for sale, too. Prices seemed pretty good to me- (although wing and nail trimming seemed a little high.)

Those are very common in the pet trade in US.

No, they don't.

They know what bird I am talking about, but they don't have it and they don't know anyone who sell them?

I know they are...but my post suggested you call the shop YOURSELF to see what else they carried. I looked online for your golden winged parakeet and found little about it...so I don't think you are going to find it at an average bird shop. But good luck to you.

Call some stores. Please. Just look online and call some. Did anyone in San Antonio help you when you posted there?
