Whenever I see her on CW giving the news, I soon find myself staring at the T.V. like Eddie at Frasier. What is it about her that's so great? Of course she's very attractive. For an anchor in Houston, that goes without saying. Is it her voice? Her delivery? She never seems to fudge words. Or am I just nuts? Oh, and obviously bored right now.

She's hot, that's just about all there is to it.
I do the same thing with Daniella Guzman on Channel 2.

Yeah, but they are all hot pretty much. Have you ever noticed she never seems to screw up?

I don't watch Channel 39 too much nowadays so I can't really say.
I see Mia more often on the billboards than I do on TV.
I remember she did a good job of anchoring when she only did the weekend news (before she took over full-time).

What happened to Sherry Williams and why is she regulated to a fluff job on 11?

Anywho I think Mia is alright... that's all.

I'm not a fan of Mia or any of the squeeky voiced newscasters on our local channels.

Her and Alan Hemberger were demoted down to weekend duty (by new management, I think) in order to bring a new look to the channel news.
Alan accepted the demotion, but Sherry left and was off TV for a while.
She popped back up recently on Channel 11 doing light, feel-good stories.
I guess a fluff gig on Channel 11 is the only thing she can get right now.
Katie McCall left Channel 39 and is now doing anchor gigs at Channel 13.
