Hey mpope, i live an hour away from dowtown Denver and Houston will be extremely lucky if it ever gets downtown activity like Denver has today. I don't know what your apprehension is to this Houston Pavilions but i can tell you that the one in Denver is a great assett.

Well it's just that I always thought that a city of Houston's magnitude would have gotten something a little more extravagant by now. Maybe a little later, though. But hey, atleast the Houston Pavilions is giving us a Niketown now. Still, if Pavilions is what we had to have, atleast add more high end and luxury good stores to the project. Not only would that attract more people in the city, but I guarantee you that it would bring more tourists to the downtown area. People love to shop upscale in downtown areas: Michigan Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Madison, Peachtree, Main Street in Dallas, etc., etc.

Since when is the Houston Pavilions having a Niketown? People shop at Main Street in Dallas? Ha, they shop at Northpark.

There's supposed to be a Niketown in the Houston Pavilions. That's what came up when I Googled it.

Well, the Neimans downtown. Point is, upscale shopping is available in their downtown area.
