Is anyone else getting mushrooms in their yards?
Over the weekend I woke up and found little tiny mushrooms sprouting everywhere in our flowerbeds and around our trees.
There are bigger mushrooms in the backyard.
This is our first home so I'm not even sure what would be the best thing to use to get rid of them permanently.
Any suggestions?

Probably from the rain we've been getting recently. Just kick them or pick and eat them.

Yep! We're getting them everywhere in our neighborhood.

Just don't eat 'em. (oh wait...wrong kind.)

Yeah, I don't think I'll be eating them.
Won't they just come back if you just kick them?

Have any kids? Kicking mushrooms is a perfect task for a 5-year-old boy.

Our son is only 8 1/2 months old, lol.
So I guess just kicking them will take care of it, huh?
I really thought it would be more complicated than that.
I figured I would need some kind of weed killer or something.

I've always just mowed or kicked them.

I was just kidding about the kicking of mushrooms but it sounds like that really is what you do with them. I knew I had a green thumb

I used to enjoy kicking mushrooms when I was a kid.

Mow them over and the spores will just spread over a bigger area. BTDT.
