Yeah, I think that's a real possibility. Now that the Tech game is over, I hope the Coogs go undefeated and/or end up in a BCS bowl as well.

I listened the whole game. U of H has been giving up lots of points, even in their wins. But there were many factors in this loss.
1) Tech exposed holes in the Houston run defense. According to the broadcasters of the game, UTEP was using many of the run plays that worked for Tech
2) UTEP has an explosive offense mainly the run game, just waiting to get going, it did. lol
3) Running back said to be the best in CUSA
4) Houston's high scoring offense did not score inside the 10 twice in the first half.
5) Maybe the biggest factor - poor preparation in the weeks practice just almost impossible to convince some players you've got to do more than just show up to play a 1-3 team.

They shouldn't even be given a thought to be in the top 25.

And have to go to Mississippi State for what should be a real challenge with so many areas to work on this week in practice. There best hope now is an offer to one of the better bowls. Even for that, they will have to blast/blowout most everyone except maybe Miss. State. It was fun for the few weeks. Wait'll next year.

I hear you, I was totally shocked! I didn't see or hear the game, but from what Mark-Tyler is Special said above it sounds like there were many factors, including a lack of adequate preperation. It reminds me of an interview with Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson back in the 90's when they were dominating the NFL. The interviewer asked Johnson what the toughest thing he had to do as a head coach was. He said by far it was preparing the team for the next game right after a really big win. It must be really hard to do, especially when you are about to play a team that is a lesser opponent than the one you just defeated.
