Looks like the bridge is finally going to connect.

Also, does anyone know how high above the freeway those Memorial City District lights are going to be? Rumors are also going around that the Energy Corridor is going to do something similar. So we may have "decoration" from Blalock Lane to Eldridge Parkway.

I was kinda hoping for a big disco ball in the middle of the Beltway Interchange....

That's really cool! Anything to make the city look better is fine with me.

I believe the economy really slowed down the construction in that area. The Westin Hotel construction has come nearly to a halt.

Actually, it was the Gessner expansion that haulted a lot. You couldn't get construction delivery to the area, and made it dangerous for workers. I see the Westin is active again now that Gessner is almost done.

Do they light that crown up at night on Memorial Hermann?

It might serve as the disco ball you were asking for if it lit up and spun around at night.

I was assembling a bunch of equipment at Memorial City's Victoria's Secret just the other day. It had been awhile since I was in that area. It is quite impressive.

It's really bizarre over here. CityCentre isn't even finished out yet, yet it's packed on weekend evenings. Being an Uptown girl, it's bizarre to see so much activity on the sleepy side of town.

Premont, it's the StayPuff Man from Ghostbusters for sure!
