Almost every time I look for one of these windshield chip repair places they are almost always in the parking lot of a topless bar with some well-endowed (although not particularly attractive) woman doing the work? Dancing not lucrative enough - side biz, what's up with that?

And, the ones that aren't located in the topless joint parking lots - look like they have retired rough-looking dancers working them (in average business parking lots). Weirdest thing. I can't make the connection between the two industries.

Lots of services being catered to in the same spot. Nothing wrong with it. Mixed use, if you might.

Your tax dollars are paying for a new job counseling program. Former exotic dancers who can no longer find employment dancing are being trained to have a new job skill. They can choose between window repair and bookkeeping. So far bookkeeping hasn't been too popular. I'm kidding but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Actually it's too much time on Houston freeways and always in need of a chip repair.......................although I haven't actually had one repaired in the topless parking lot - but it is where I can always find one. Family member got one repaired last weekend by what appeared to be a "retired" dancer in a snowcone parking lot. They even filed it for him on his insurance..........

Well, this is Houston we're talking about....you can make a buck anywhere doing just about anything (our whole little no-zoning dealie), and the city does revolve around the car. Every time I come back to Houston, I think "What is UP with all the GAS STATIONS everywhere? Oh, wait..." We're talking 3 gas stations at an intersection here! It only seems natural that you could get windshield repair (and other car services) everywhere too.

What's their slogan? "We fix your glass while you dream of tapping my ass"?

On a more serious note, how rare is it for a car to get a chip while driving on one of the highways in Houston?

Well we moved up here from the Valley, so I'd say it's pretty unlikely. I worry more about my alignment getting messed up. Houston's roads leave a lot to be desired.
