Agreed, and I really want to visit and see them in person.

That's over by my neck of the woods. I believe it offers the most stunning view of the Houston skylines.

I think we all know by now what happens when you tunnel things in Houston. If you are unaware google deaths from floods in Houston!

Oh and our weekend nightlife in the 70's was driving the loop....why I do not know

You are right on. Can you imagine a tunnel system, with a storm like Ike heading our way, and thousands of cars stuck below ground, with little chance of escape. I'll have to pass on that one.

Cool video and great soundtrack, but I'll bet ya that video was made on a Sunday morning. I've traveled all of those freeways many times and the traffic in the video is very light. Had to be made on Sunday morning when folks were in church and/or hungover from a Saturday night out.

I relive that video way too much driving around town. But my fav view in town is coming of Westpark tollway to get on 59. Galleria and downtown blend together well with med center visible too.

I am pretty sure his other videos on youtube are sunday mornings, so I am sure that one is also.

I still say the freeway part of 249 is the most advanced highway in Houston.
