No luxury builders use Benedettini. They make their own brand of cabinet which is pretty cheesy quality and they sell them to tract builders. They also sell a major manufacturer brand at full list price to small builders who dont know any better. If you want to get raped by paying full list price you can go to the big orange who only wants your little green.

Besides.....Benedettini does not sell to the public. No way no how and never did.

[Mod edit- complaint]

The last place you want to go is the big box store. They charge full list price or MSRP or sticker price. You would not pay sticker price for you new car so dont pay it for cabinets to them.

Today most small dealers discount heavy from list price. The markup from wholesale to retail is high, just like jewerly. Search out the small dealer who discounts. Also most small dealers employ certified designers, unlike the big box stores who just give a floor clerk a few days training on the CAD program. These people design for profit, not for functionability. You the customer will be short changed as you watch your new kitchen come to life on their screen. You will not know about modern goodies because they dont know about them to tell you. Besides, cabinet lead time in the big box stores are 14 to 16 weeks when everyone else can get them in 3 weeks or less. Now why is that?

Can you tell me what you mean by small dealers? What do I look for? I want to get new cabinets and kitchen counter within the next few months and have just begun the planning stage.

Once again, yall should try The Gulf and Basco Company and Quality Cabinets. They are the distributors to the builders. They also sell retail. Save some money and buy direct from the supplier.
