We live just a few miles from Friendswood in Webster. Friendswood is a small bedroom community with a very low poverty rate. There isn't much exciting there, BUT it is known for strict police (a plus to me!), strong academics, and a small town feel. A lot of professionals live in Friendswood and commute to other parts of the city because it is a pretty safe place to live in the Houston area. Pearland is nice, but from what I hear it is bursting at the seams. If my job holds out we plan to move to Friendswood in a year.
