The museum of print history is quite interesting and I've found that very few people even seem to know that it exists.

The Museum of Printing History - Houston, Texas

Do you know of any other somewhat obscure museums tucked away in Houston? I already know about the Funeral History museum. Any others?

Well it's not in Houston but Huntsville has a really neat Prison Museum. If you ever find yourself driving from Houston to Dallas, you'll pass it on I-45.

Forbidden City out in Katy is pretty cool. Inside Houston, the Maritime Museum has all kinds of model boats and the Buffalo Soldiers' Museum is interesting.

It's an annual affair, and usually is big fun, for the whole family. during the day they let the Kids build little model Art Cars. And did I say it was all free? At night, it's for the big Kids.

There is the National Museum of Funeral History on the north side of town. That should rank as somewhat obscure IMHO.

Too bad the building a model art car is only for the kids -- I'm an adult and I want to build a model art car.
