Hello Everyone,
So, I finally decided on an apartment in Katy section of TX. Its the new apartments called Broadstone Grand Parkway. Does anyone know anything or know anyone living there yet? If not would you describe that area
(zip code) as safe?.Are these apartment really located in a convenient area? (I'm not that familiar with the area yet) I could not find any reviews on the apartments because again they are brand new. I also did a search on these boards, didn't find much info. I'm hoping I made a wise decision!

It's a very very safe area with very highly ranked schools (academically) with loads of amenities.

Take it from someone who has actually lived in the area for 4 years and not from someone who just recently moved to south Katy, you will find that the "kinds of people" who live in Cinco and surrounding areas are very down-to-earth families. Some people who don't live in Cinco and similar areas seem to think that everyone in CR and the like are so far up the social ladder - it's funny really. Anyway, the location of the apts is convenient - located north of Falcon Ranch right off of Hwy 99. South Katy as a whole is fairly safe. I am not 100% sure about that particular location.

Yeah, what she said. It amazes me the reputation people seem to give to Cinco peeps...it is so far from "upper class" it's not even funny. I wouldn't think twice about seeing someone on a motorcycle. As I've said many times before, there are a hell of a lot more Hondas than Lexus driver around here.
