I certainly hope it gets built. The land borders my neighborhood and it will be far easier for my kids to walk to than Seven Lakes. As it stands now the freshman class at Seven Lakes is around 900 kids...unbelievable to me. I know the new HS will fill up super fast and by the time my kids are seniors their graduating classes may be just as big, but I'd like to hope not. Seven Lakes is a fantastic school but it really is bursting at the seams already.

Also I had heard that the plan for the new stadium will be something similar to the Berry center in Cypress, with events like large concerts and such. The extra traffic might be some concern to me, and the potential for petty crime, but it sure would be nice to be able to walk to and from a good concert on a nice night. We go to a lot of concerts and it gets a little tiring making sure one of us is good to drive home from downtown.

I think the largest class was Cinco Ranch's class three years ago IIRC. Over 1,000 kids. Seven Lakes is like what Cinco was before it opened. Morton Ranch is the same.
