Also, if you have a 2010 Accord, let me know the experience, tips and tricks, if possible the price you bought the car and the dealer ?

I'm really getting nightmares thinking what is the best price and to buy from whom.
I have a 2005. What is your reason to buy a new car? The car is going to depreciate heavily in the first 2 years. Why not buy it used?

You also have to consider the Cost of Ownership.
The best deals are at Auctions.

I love my Accord infact all I have driven is a Honda. I had a 1996 Accord that went to 250K miles and then I sold it. I did not have major problems.

Now I own a 2005 Honda and the only thing that went out was the Starter. The engine is still imported from Japan.

In Houston there is too much competition. Haggling is not what it use to be.

Actually, brake pad replacement depends almost 100% on your driving habits. Speakers depend on how you use them - which is why blown speakers are rarely covered under warranty.

I wouldn't base your decision to buy an Accord off of this review.

That is correct. Its how you drive and how you maintain your car.
Same goes for speakers.

I would take this off the Houston forum, and over to the Auto forum or (better yet) to Edmunds.com where the subject is cars. You will get replies from people who have recently purchased, or who are actively looking for the same make and model you are.

@laurenl842, Yes brake pads depends on driving habits but in this case the flaw was in the brake pads. This is a known issue in Honda Accord 2008 and over 600 complaints have been filed. Here is the link:

Page 1: 2008 Honda Accord premature brake wear | CarComplaints.com

For speakers I don't even use speakers. And it is not the speakers that is giving the problem it is something else loose inside the speakers area.

I believe that older Honda cars were great but the cars that are manufactured today are worthless.

Your buying a new model year there aren't going to be a lot of reports especially in a down economy. See what has changed between 10 and 09 and make a guess. My 08 is running fine.
