I saw the posting on the Katy ISD long term planning. We attended one of the workshops this month. Great information!

Does Lamar have a long term plan available somewhere as well? I don't know that we will leave Katy ISD when our lease is up next summer, but if we did end up buying in Weston Lakes, I'd like to hear more about the Lamar district. Weston Lakes is zoned to Huggins Elem, Wertheimer 6th grade, Briscoe Jr High, and Foster High School.

Any commentary on these schools? All I've heard is that Lamar isn't the quality of Katy, but the few folks I have talked to with their kids at Huggins and Briscoe seem happy.

Default nothing?

Wow! Nothing on Lamar CISD - or Briscoe/Foster?

How about thoughts on the tax rate out there? I think they are roughly 1.2 compare to Katy's 1.5.... Think as this district grows it will catch up to or even surpass Katy ISD tax rate?
