Does anyone know of any stores in Houston that specialize in rustic furniture (teak and other exotic woods)? I believe alot of it is imported from India, Indonesia and such countries. I'm not looking for names like Gallery, Bel, etc as those guys don't handle what I'm looking for. Rather I believe these stores are usually small independent operations. This site (Imported Indonesian Teak Furniture, San Diego The Elephant's Trunk) handles the type of furnitures I'm looking for. Any help would be much appreciated.

Home Source (san felipe and post oak behind california pizza kitchen), and a place on the corner of Morning Side and Kirby ( i think it is called el paso??). Also, a place right next to Whole Foods on Alabama...For more Indian woods, Home Source might be your best bet.
Good Luck!

Go to Far Pavilions on I-10 in Katy ~ all of their items are imported from India and the Far East. I've found some beautiful things there. [Mod edit 10 post to link off site]

Just another FYI as I looked at one of the suggested sites...I'm not looking for the "Texas Styled" furniture. However, thank you for your help and suggestion. I'll make sure I check out the other stores though. Keep the suggestions coming if you know of any more stores. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I guess I "third" Home Source. They also have a warehouse off of I-10 somewhere near the beltway with clearance items. It looks like a close match to the link you provided.

Okay - thanks - when you asked for rustic - I assumed you meant that texas wood type style.

It's at I-10 and the Beltway, kinda behind the Home Depot. I put together a whole niece's first townhouse with that place.
