Metro bus service, like most urban bus systems, moves at its own deliberate pace. What are your experiences (or views) in terms of the safety vs speed trade-off? Is there a trade-off?

I wish there was more speed. I mean some of these buses can go only 20 mph sometimes. That to me is unacceptable. I wish there were more buses that ran more frequently. Instead of to the current schedules, that sometimes make no sense. But, I think they are just trying to carry more passengers(money) on every bus. I don't know. I just want them to run faster!

There are so many variables to this question, (ie. location, time of day, traffic in the area, etc.) it's hardly even a question. You might want to ask about a specific area and time.
