Does anyone have any recommendations for residential window tinting in Katy, Tx? Also, any comments on tinting vs solar shades would be interesting. Thanks

I have heard that the solar shades are so much better. They also last longer. Plus, they block the heat before it gets to the window, unlike the tint.

We used Sun Pro and were very happy with them. Sun and Hurricane protection from 3M.

How do Solar Shades work? Is it a film that goes outside?

I have a 4th story sky light that needs some filtering, hot as blazes up there but I don't know if anyone can get up that high!

The tint takes away the UV light. The solar shades are light permeable pull down shades.

Sorry guys, i was referring to Solar Screens, not shades. I don't know squat about the shades, I meant that solar screens were supposed to be the best.
