Hi,

I will be relocating to Houston this summer as was looking for recommendations of apartments to rent around the Binz / Rice Village area?

Have a budget of between $1,000 / $1,500 and looking for 800sqft plus.

Anyone have good recommendations?

Thanks.

Me too! Am looking daily for apartments in Houston. I'm not impressed with the cookie cutter, over-priced options. Does anyone know of any smaller, maybe family business owned rentals? In Louisville I rent from a large realestate family; their units are well maintained, rent is low (they love mainstays) and the office is great!! Please post any good management reviews. I'm looking in West Univ, Upper Kirby, Museum District and River Oaks. Thanks much!

My son lives in the Amalfi. Binz & Almeda. He loves it. I have a coworker who is thinking of moving there too.

Where would I look to find these 4 plexes advertised? All I'm finding through many rental advertising sources (craigslist, newspaper, online) are the commercial apartment complexes. Thank you.

Unfortunately for those looking, a lot of the individual places just slap a sign in the yard and that is about it. I would definitely look at craigslist, and also backpage.com. Check rentals on HAR.com as well. The Greensheet can be another source. On Har check 77004, 77005, 77006, 77007,77019, & 77023.

Houston's urban landscape can go from good to bad in a matter of a block or two, so you will have to filter again from that.

Actually, I know of a couple of small 1 bedrooms coming up in the upper-Kirby/Shepherd area in a mid-century modern building designed by Burdett Keeland & Harwood Taylor.
