So, in preparing for the move this fall, I figure I should start looking for a new doctor, mechanic, hair stylist, dog groomer and so on...

I looked but didn't see any discussions for a good Lexus dealership in the Houston area. Even a Toyota one with a good service record should be fine.

If you can suggest any services for the other things I mentioned, that would be great too! Thank you

Westside Lexus and Northside Lexus. They are both owned by the same people. My parents have leased cars from both of those dealerships. The service center at Westside (a couple blocks from the actual dealership) is a gorgeous facility.

There is also Sterling McCall Lexus and Lexus of Clear Lake. I don't know much about those dealerships.

My vote is for Westside Lexus -- you won't find better customer service anywhere.

I purchased a lexus from lexus clear lake..... they gave me discounts as well as 2 years of service and lifetime carwash (in and out) free. You can check that facility as well.

Default My vote.

Northside and Westside get my approval. I would stay away from Lexus of Clear Lake for several reasons. Regarding Toyota, Joe Meyers has been good in my experience. My opinion, anyway.

Thanks for the info, I am glad to know there are a couple well liked Lexus dealers. I just got the car, so I'm a little anal on making sure I have a place to get the oil changes once I'm down there.

westside lexus gave me the heavy sell and their used stock looked like junk

"WHY YOU NO BUY CAR.........."

Cue idiot salesperson almost throwing themselves on my bonnet when I declined to purchase their knackered 'as new' 20 grand LS and started driving off their lot.

My wife and I have been using Sterling McCall Lexus over on 59 Southwest Freeway near Beltway 8 for over 3 years. We have 2 Lexus vehicles that receive all there service at this facility. We love our service advisor and the fact that they have accomodated us with Loaner car's on numerous occassions. If you plan ahead, you can more than likely get a loaner.

Which dealer has better prices (willing to negotiate) on new models? Heard its hard to get a new model much lower than MSRP. Those newly redesigned GX look nice, except that stupid rear door which swings open rather than a liftgate.

Moved here a while ago. Brought my car to Sterling-McCall Lexus. The service advisor Sophia was very pleasant, straightforward, got me a loaner even though I was very late for my appointment. Service advisors at my previous dealership in CA always kind of creeped me out. Sophia was great. I'll definitely go back.
