If you work in downtown and looking to buy a house and your two options are 288/FM 518 vicinity or 45/FM 1959 Dixie farm rd, which one would you prefer and why? What are the pros and cons for either of those areas? Appreciate your views.

Thanks.

288 easily and in the areas around Pearland. The traffic is a lot better than I-45.

288/518 hands down. Traffic is RELATIVELY lighter than on 45. Going up and down 45 can get to a crawl even on weekends, which is rare on 288.

288/518 has much better immediate shopping, and depending on your price range is more "affluent" because of the bigger concentration of higher priced homes.

Unless you have family off 45 or like traveling to Galveston often, the 288/518 area has more pros than cons.
