Hello, I am wondering about Housing for Houston Community College. I will be finishing high school sometime, and am wondering what do people do for housing if they go to Houston Community College? The out of state tuition is already cheaper then instate tuition for a Minnesota Community College.

Typically they stay at home and go to the nearest campus, or they get an apartment and go to the nearest campus. If you are from Minnesota, apartment living looks like it will be it for you.

Why not check out the Houston Craig's List for roommates wanted listings, or post a listing yourself asking if anyone needs a roommate, together with how much rent you're prepared to pay? This is generally how students arrange for off-campus housing - a combination of campus bulletin board postings and online listings. It's a little less structured than on-campus housing, but (1) you do get to pick your roommates, and (2) unlike typical undergrad on-campus housing, you probably can get your own room.

I use to live in Moody Towers. Its a challenge to keep your sanity, let alone grades up, but its lots of fun. Its coed with alternating floors either male or female with central communal bathrooms and the rooms are mostly rectangular 10ft by 15ft with a built in bed and desk on each side of the room. Its kinda cramped to be honest. But its a real dorm experience.
