Hi,
I am looking for a trust worthy mechanic in North West Houston Area. Yeah! I know this will be hard to find
.
The shop should also be able to do yearly car safety registration checkup.
I often go to Goodyear near my house but they are liars and incapable of performing good work.
Any ideas?

It's so hard finding a good and honest mechanic when there's lot of money to be made. I would also like to know where I can bring in my car for a brake check/repair in League City. I don't mind paying a little more as long as the repair is done honestly.

Fairbanks Car Repair, just south of FM 529, and N Eldridge, on Eldridge. Ralph is the owner, been there forever. He has been my families mechanic for at least twenty years. He is a good man, who would not cheat a soul on this earth. He doesnt work for charity, by any means, but he will not cheat you. He has had the same two techs for 10+ years. Guys who value their job. Going to a goodyear, or other franchised shop, you'll probably get young parts replacers. These guys are good, old school mechanics.

I recommend calling a personal mechanic. I use Richard his number is 281-728-7432, this mechanic does work on just about anything and he is HONEST ! Thats worth it's weight in gold when it comes to expensive repairs to your car. We all know that for sure. Good luck in your quest. If you do call him, just mention Zman gave the recommendation.
