Hi, I am seeking an extended stay hotel/motel that offers weekly or monthly rates in the Houston area. I have been searching online, but I wanted to see if anyone here had any additional useful information or insight. I would prefer to spend no more than $200/week. Thank you!

It's a local outfit, kind of funkee, they do a rudimentary screening but you might find neighbors that are some interesting characters but that is the nature of the beast if you are only willing to fork out $200: SKYLANE APTS. They are furnished, rent either by the week or month, and have about a half dozen all over town. They are quite reasonable esp. if you rent by the month.

When I'm in need of a long term stay in Houston and my parents aren't in town , I usually stay at the Studio 6 off of Fuqua and I-45. A stone's throw from the Beltway.
