If someone built a drive through sushi place with a big fish tank and you could pick out the fish you want from your car and they would chop it up while you wait and if it had blue neon lights and looked tasty would people eat them?

I would order sushi to eat in the car - but don't want to pick out the fish and wait. Too slow.

Eh, some things just aren't very suited for drive-thru. How about a sandwich shop?

This is the U.S. People don't want to see how they kill the fish and prepare it. They just want the final product.

Unlikely. Also preparing the fish fresh would not be a good fit with a drive-thru,

Drive-through places are about speed and convenience. If they want a show, they'll go to a sit-down restaurant. Besides, Americans are squeamish about live anything - people try not to think about the process that their food underwent on the way to the dinner table.

I can't believe anybody even posts reasonable responses to this poster's ridiculous threads, he's obviously baiting.
