Hi Folks:

I live in a two bedroom apartment and am looking at a one bedroom condo that is almost the same size, but much much nicer. have any of you gone from two to one bedroom and regretted it or not regretted it?

Thanks,
Carole

I have done that before and if your single and don't get guests much you won't miss the 2nd bedroom a bit.

I've done this as well and I think it really depends on your lifestyle. During one of my moves while I was still single I went into a 700sf studio from having lived in either 2 or 1 bdrm situations. I lived on the main drag of a tiny community in Santa Barbara. I had immediate access to shops, restaurants, a few minutes walk to the beach and an ocean view. My concerns were mostly about storage; luckily the condo I was renting had its own very large storage closet down the hall in addition to 2 very large closets. At the time, it was a great fit for me & I really didn't miss having a spare bdrm.

I don't know. Is all about how often you used the second bedroom while you had two.
