How come their are no sidewalks off 1960 or Highway 6 in Houston?

They are afraid somebody would Skate on them, and not drive their cars. Cars bring in big bucks.

Sidewalks are worse than buses. People can't only ride in but walk in. the horror.

Hwy 6 and FM1960 are more recently developed areas and are not necessarily in the City of Houston. Parts are still in unincorporated areas. No rules/requirements = no sidewalks. That road used to be a farm road in the middle of nowhere with alot of dairy farms and croplands where no sidewalks were needed. It is also a state owned road and easement so it would be up to the state to put in sidewalks and they are not known for doing that.

Their needs to be Public transportation and Sidewalks.
