I would like to have all opinions on the Lakecrest subdivision in N.Katy area.

Here are my requirements and I would like to have an idea of good subdivisions

a) Price < 200K
b) 1 storey at least 2000sq ft with a pool.
c) Nice neighborhood, no gangbangers or potential for that kind.

You may have difficulty finding a lot in Lakecrest that would have room for a pool. The lot sizes in that neighborhood are teeny weeny. Barkers Ridge is down the street and many of the homes are on larger lots.

Barkers ridge is nice - and settled - no surprises later on on how it turned out. Same for Deerfield nearby.
