Do you have health insurance? If you do, you may be limited to where you can go and who you can see. If you don't, my friends and my brother delivered at Sugar Land Methodist and they were very pleased. Not sure about the OB/Gyn doctor.

The absolute best OBGYN in Houston is Dr. Byron Holt. He is an absolutely fabulous dr. He has offices here in Katy now as well. He also has his main office on Frostwood. He has a very long standing & great history here. I assure you...you can't go wrong with this doctor!

Depends on what you want from your doctor and birth experience. That will help determine which kind of doctor and hospital you want.

Go with the best hospital that is close to you. You may have to get a c section and stay longer, and your family may have to commute. You also may have a really quick labor, or they send you home for "false" labor.

Tour the hospitals and see which one feels right. Then ask for referrals from friends.
