A friend of mine used Katy Area Construction. Matt Brown is the contact, 832-372-8925. He was very happy with the work & price was reasonable.

I just received another quote from Eagle Patio covers for ~8k, for a hip style 12x24' patio covered The first written quote I have received, with an itemized list of what they provide. They also provide drawings for HOA and city approval. 3 recessed lighting, one fan. Although I don't care much for a ceiling fan, everyone I know that has a patio cover has a fan but never has it on!

Phaze- 2 suggestions, #1- don't go with Cy Fair Pools and #2- Call someone professional. If you are ok with somewhat lower prices but super "un"professionalism, its your call... these guys are like termites, get into your house then take forever to complete, no status, walk in to work anytime they like... anyways, thouhgt to share my $.02.

Thanks for your input. I got another quote this morning, on-site, but was out of my budget. I'm leaning toward Eagle patio covers...

Phaze, any updates? I'm looking for a patio cover in my backyard, and checking around for some info. Have you decided which contractor/company and the cost/sq ft?

Thanks.

Eagle Patio Covers started on mine on Monday, and are expected to finish tomorrow or Friday at the latest. They've been working on it almost all day, everyday.

I really really really wish I had a digital camera, but it was stolen not too long ago. I only have some crappy cell phone pics. Everything is looking nice, the thing isn't going anywhere. They tied into siding of my house's studs, and are re-applying the hardi siding.

Crew seems good, they keep their work area clean, set the trash aside daily in their trailer. It seems like they put pride in their work. I will take pictures of the final product with a real camera.

Huh? Come on what? I asked for the info that may help me decide for my project. Is that too much to ask? (@ Mustang, I'm not even asking you the q!)

He's referring to my previous post which has a price, which is what you asked. They finalized it today, it looks very nice in my opinion. I am pleased and will try to post pics asap.
