There is a show tonight on the FOX Business Channel by John Stossel that focuses on the 'Most Miserable City In America', Cleveland and cites Houston as a example of a successful city.

The discussion is about how difficult it is for businesses in Cleveland and cites Houston as an example of how business friendly it is. In one example, they mention a business that took several months to be allowed to open in Cleveland, and then mentions how it took only one day for a Mexican business to open in Houston.

Again, the show is about Cleveland, but puts Houston in a good light. The show airs at 19:00 on Fox Business Channel, but check your listing... if you re interested.

Here are two articles on it...

Smart, hardworking people move to wherever there are good jobs

Good jobs and profitable companies move to where taxes are low, culture is pro-business and anti-BigGovernment/anti-union...and where desirable workers want to live...strong economies in Houston and Dallas say it all

Lazy people tend to prefer places with lots of overpaid union and government jobs (paid for with high tax rates)

MI, OH, NY/NJ, etc have been self-selecting lazy parasites for decades...and deserve the dying, communist economies they created for themselves

Sorry, they would have to broadcast the Second Coming before I would turn in to any channel with FOX in the name.

Forgive my ignorance, but where is the Fox Business channel? I assume it's not the same as the Fox News channel...

No, it's not the same as Fox News. You can go to your TV provider's website and check for the channel. Depending on your programming tier it might not be included. On DirecTV it's Channel 359; that's the only one I can help you with.

OP: Thanks for the heads-up. I'm looking forward to seeing this show.
