At least you have service. Ours has been out for nearly two weeks and they refuse to do anything about it. So every day I call and make them credit my account. They keep telling me its my modem, but yet, I tried the modem with another cable provider and voila! It works just fine. So it's not the modem.

I am very unhappy with comcast and *this* close to switching to AT&T DSL.

We're with Comcast...not thrilled with it. It really seems like the speed has declined in recent months. AT&T Uverse isnh't yet available in our area but they call me about 1x week to try to sell me DSL service. Has anyone compared AT&T DSL to Comcast for speed and overall service??

I actually have AT&T DSL at our other home in the Lafayette LA area. They have four tiers of speed available here, and we have the second most fast. Even running over a slower wireless router (g versus the n I have in Houston), it it noticeably faster than Comcast cable. I haven't actually "measured" it, but both my husband and I have noticed it. We don't game, but do stream Netflix instant watch with no issues). I am going to give the Comcast one more shot, and then I'm going to switch. I only picked Comcast in Houston for the simple reason we didn't put in a home phone line there, and it could be bundled into our cable (which for the record, Sucks too!) I wish we had the AT&T Uverse available in our part of Houston (near West Oaks mall).

I just got Comcast about a month ago.
Speeds have been just fine for me.
Anything was better than Entouch.
