Hello! I'll be moving to Houston soon and working near Galleria. I've never dealt with driving in a big city and know close to nothing of Houston, so I would like to stay somewhere around Galleria.

My main concerns are safety and bug infestations (info I've gathered from looking at apartment reviews). I don't wanna go above $850, but am willing to go up to $1000 if the place is worth it.

I am looking for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom place.

Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

What does "near" mean to you? Can get something nice for 850 all the way down on Richmond/Westheimer.

no more than a 10 mile radius, but ideally less than 5. i dont wanna have to get on the loops or highways.

im not famliar with the areas, so please give me suggestions. i googled richmond and found Richmond Towne Homes, which looks really nice but then the reviews are not that great. in terms of the area, i'm good with it

Yeah, that area is actually ok. I know where those are. Richmond just isn't that great like 2 miles down the road towards downtown. That's where it starts to suck.

Those here are right by the Galleria, but around 1000 bucks.

There are some decent apartments on Westcreek Ln, older but not horrible and should fit your price range. Also check out 4444 Westheimer and The Park At WestCreek
