Uptown needs alot of work before you see high amounts of foot traffic. And the fact that the Galleria is completely inclusive doesn't help.

One of those buildings is probably a park and ride parking garage.

Yeah, but in any case it's a marketer pipe dream. No developer is going to take a risk building around suburban parking lot and BP Westlake will not be developing the hotel/shopping center on the southside of I-10 that makes this project viable. This came out several years ago when gas prices were high and BP had grand visions of incorporating their logo in green living. That bubble has burst.

The best a developer can hope for now is COH cutting through Park Row to Eldridge for development of the northern strip.

I do agree that this was just a marketers pipe dream. However, I definitely do believe that a development like this will take place if the Energy Corridor continues to boom like it is. Oil & Gas and Energy are doing great right now.
