in general and by nature, Cypress south of Hwy-290 is prairie while the north of it tends to be have more trees.
Try go to Telge north to check Coles Crossing, Longwood; to Spring Cypress (or Cypress Rosehill) to check one of the community that has big artificial lake (the lake is so...blue ). There are older neighborhoods on Huffmeister north.
Go south on Baker Cypress and Fry Rd too. There are lots of new neighborhoods. Black Horse Ranch, for example.

Welcome Back! I bet you are excited to come home..

Cypress is our neighbor..we live in Katy...did you think about moving here and how would the commute be? Just curious..

We did consider Katy, but am concerned about the commute..DH job will be off of 290/Jones and Cypress just seemed the closest..although there is a lot more to choose from when it comes to rental houses in Katy..not a whole lot in Cypress
