Recently moved and we are just trying to find a good family barber shop in the area, with a barber who is experienced, does a good job and takes appointments or at least doesn't make you wait all day. Richmond/Rosenberg preferred, but willing to drive to Sugar Land, Stafford, etc. Thanks in advance

Boy I think you are going to have a hard time with this. It took me a long time to find a good one over here in Westchase. So you being way out, you know, there is kind of hurting your chances of finding someone. You are probably going to have to go buy word of mouth. Basically ask another black guy where he gets his haircut, haha. You seem to have moved out to an area where there is more of a White and Hispanic mix from what I have experienced. But good luck. I know how important it is to find someone who can cut hair good.

Yeah, thought we could keep going to our old barber, but it's too far (among other issues). Thanks for the response though

There HAS to be something in old town, around the square (traffic circle) in Richmond. Have you just looked around that area? Or the stretch of Hwy 90 between Rosenberg and Richmond?

Just sayin'...

I live in Richmond and have so for the last 16 year. My barber (for at least the last 18 years in Eric. His shop is located on Westheiemr and Dairy Asford. Does excellent hair and cuts hair for my husband and son (I'm female). You will need an appointment. 281-759-4900. Typical barber shop talk when you visit. I really enjoy it.
