Well, many felt she was the more qualified than the man she ran against...I think that is all it basically came down to.

Conservative doesn't mean illogical.

Texas IS far more conservative than CA.

Personally, I hope it stays that way.

Doubt community organizers, whether at city or state or fed level, influence anyone who matters or create any jobs

Most of these clowns (aside from NYC's Bloomie) have never had a real job or run a real business in their lives

If not for the energy industry and its high-income jobs, Houston would be irrelevant, much like NYC would be irrelevant without its finance industry and its high-income jobs

It's like perceiving California to be "conservative" since Ronald Reagan built his career (both political and in Hollywood) there.

Pigeonholing whole states into neat little categories like "blue" or "red" or "conservative" or "liberal" never made much sense to me, but it surely simplifies things for people who don't know any better.

It's like perceiving California to be "conservative" since Ronald Reagan built his career (both political and in Hollywood) there.
