You left off Clear Lake. Some of those towns are too far to be considered Houston suburbs (including Texas City, Conroe, Richmond, Rosenberg, Alvin, League City, La Marque)

No comparison, DFW suburbs are head and shoulders ahead of Houston's. On the flip side the city of Houston is much better than the city of Dallas.

Seriously?

Plano has got to be one of the most depressing places I've seen in this state.

I haven't been to any of the others, but I'm a betting woman. I bet they are pretty much interchangeable with Houston's MPCs.
