Hush on I-10 has under 21, she will just have to pay a bit more in a cover. Some places are ladies 18+ and guys 21+ might want to check some of those out.

The Roxy is 18+

Be sure to bring your bullet proof vests though...

Sad because it used to be one of the best clubs in Houston. Once they started playing all Hip Hop music it went downhill fast.

Yeah...this is a tough one. I know the Flying Saucer downtown sometimes doesn't I.D but it's a bar...not a club. You might try some of the clubs downtown but those can be kind of rough (bullet proof vest-rough)

pretty sure i'd rather stay home with a case of beer than venture into a "bullet proof vest-rough" club.

Being under 21 stops people from getting into clubs/bars? Times have sure changed.

In most places it's pretty difficult to go to a club/bar if you're under 21. Most clubs/bars try to prevent underage drinking at their establishments from the getgo, but that's OK, you can always pre-game!

The clubs downtown aren't that bad. (I have an idea why you think that is, though ) Tons of HPD out there on Friday and Sat. nights. They sometimes have checkpoints out there on Main Street I noticed recently. -- One guy on the horse shining the light in the car and for the "intimidation factor", and one guy standing on his feet to peer in the car and check ID's.

Downtown, to include the Main St. clubs, is IMHO one of the safest parts of the city.

The only part of Downtown I don't prefer to venture near is the county jail for obvious reasons. Every downtown area has a county jail, though.

FWIW, I'm Asian, went to Clements HS in Sugar Land (the "bubble") and frequent Downtown establishments whenever I can.
